Work environment

Our work environment is important both for securing job satisfaction and avoiding accidents. We must all strive for the best possible work environment, for our own sake and others, so we have a responsibility to be aware of and abide by the rules that apply. If you need help or more information, please contact one of our health and safety representatives.

The university has compiled a page with everything that may be useful to be aware of if something happens, whether it is an emergency or not. The page is available on the Staff Pages.

Psychosocial work environment

Our objective is to create a good work environment. Every year we send out a survey to the department staff members. The Health, Environment and Safety (HMS) committee and the Health, Environment and Safety working group (HMS-AU) work to remedy the problems identified through the surveys.

If you experience psychosocial problems at work you need to notify your head of the unit or your health and safety representative.

Waste disposal

On Lund University's main Staff Pages, there is information about waste disposal. Ask the person responsible for your lab how you should handle the waste.
