ABI 3130xl Genetic Analyzer

Since 2002 the Sanger platform has produced around 200,000 sequences. Most users deliver pellets of purified DNA ready for using on the ABI 3130xl. We realize that turnaround time is extremely important to our customers and aspire to provide high quality results in the shortest possible time. Our current turnaround times are about 1 to 2 working days. For general questions, for protocol for BigDye reactions and clean up procedures contact the Sanger part of the Facility (Eva Friman).

Sample Requirements

Sequencing reactions should be performed using the BigDye® Terminator v1.1 Cycle Sequencing Kit.

Samples should be deposited in 0.2ml 8-Tube PCR Strips or 96-well plates (NOT in individual tubes!)

Provide your name, e-mail address and invoicing information.


ABI 3130xl Sequencing: 25 SEK/sample. (The number of samples will be rounded up to the nearest multiple of 16).

Sample preparation: 10 SEK/sequence reaction + “handling cost” of 200 SEK for each set of 1-192 samples.

We also provide the ABI BigDye v1.1 reagent at cost.
