From Shape to Evolution
In the 3D Lab we deal with different technologies for quantifying, analysing and visualizing 3D complex phenotypes of both extant and extinct (fossils) organisms. Our focus are applications in the field of ecology, evolution and palaeontology. However, our technology can be used in a broader range of applications such as: medicine, anthropology, archaeology, geology, cultural heritage, engineering and design.
From Scan to Print
We will help you to convert your specimen or object to a 3D file that you can use for further digital analysis or to print on your own 3D printer or the 3D printer available at the Workshop of the Department of Biology.
