Changes to procedures regarding hourly contracts and GU administration

To facilitate the process for hourly employments, we have developed a form to be completed so that we can ensure all required information is submitted from the outset.

The form is available on our Swedish internal website.

Please note that an employment contract must be in place before anyone starts working at the department. It is not possible to process employment retroactively.

At the same time, we are transferring the handling of all employments to the HR administration. This means that if you, in your role as course coordinator, need to employ staff for teaching, this should now be done via an HR administrator and no longer via the GU office, as was previously the case.

Furthermore, the department’s finance administration has taken over the handling of invoices, internal invoicing, and support with rental car bookings.

If you need assistance with booking a rental car, it is important that you plan well in advance, as it can be difficult to secure buses during the field season.

In all other respects, procedures remain unchanged. Matters relating to scheduling, course selection, grading, etcetera will continue to be handled by the GU office.
