Degree seeking Master’s student, autumn 2020
General information for newly accepted students have been sent from the international office. Did you not receive this information or were you admitted after having been on the waiting list? Then please find the general information letter here (pdf)
Arrival Day is Tuesday the 18’th of August 2020. Read the pre-arrival information carefully. It includes important and valuable information. The pre-arrival guide is especially informative.
Try to arrive on the Arrival day. Many people are engaged to help you during this specific day, and it will facilitate your arrival in many ways. Lund University International Office as well as the International Housing Office, LU Accommodation, are organizing the Arrival day. Bring bedding sheets if possible. Blankets and pillows are for sale outside the reception on Arrival day.

Welcome letters for our master’s programmes.
Some of our programmes require that you choose your autumn semester course(s). Please look into the detailed information for your programme (below) and follow the instructions. This information was sent to all admitted students via e-mail. In case you didn’t get it, find it here:

As an exchange student are you nominated by your home university. You apply for courses through the platform “Solemove”. You will receive information about how to apply on-line after having been nominated by your coordinator at your home university. If you are staying for a second term, you will receive information about how to apply for second semester courses from your coordinator at Lund University.
Exchange students do not apply through the University Admissions in Sweden website.

If you are on the waiting list for a course we will contact you via mail if there are openings.
How to make a late application
The late application for our courses usually opens in the middle of July (autumn semester courses) and in mid-December (spring semester courses). The late applications close one week after the courses start. If you have made a late application for a course
less than 2 weeks before the start of the course, please contact the study advisor for information (mail address below).
The process with the late applications usually takes at least 2 weeks.

Introduction meetings, Schedule and Registration
Around 4-5 weeks before the start of the course, you will get a welcome letter via mail. The schedule can be found on the course web page, see course overview. It is compulsory to attend the introduction meeting/roll call. If you can’t attend the introduction meeting, you must contact the course leader in advance. You will get registered for the course by attending the introduction meeting.
Find information about the literature in the schedule or on the course web-page. Make sure to acquire the books in time.
