Awarded book about vision

This year the book Visual Ecology got the Prose Award in Textbook/Biological & Life Sciences. And one of the authors is our professor Eric Warrant.

Eric Warrant and his co-authors have won the 2015 Prose Award for Textbook/Biological & Life Sciences with the book Visual Ecology. They were also on the shortlist for the Prose Award for Excellence in Biological and Life Science. The Association of American Publishers Award for Professional and Scholarly Excellence (the PROSE Awards) is annually recognize the very best in professional and scholarly publishing by bringing attention to distinguished books, journals, and electronic content in over 40 categories. 

The book Visual Ecology is the study of how animals use visual systems to meet their ecological needs, how these systems have evolved, and how they are specialized for particular visual tasks. The book is a resource for students and researchers alike.
