Here is how you can participate in the project

We are interested in your participation in our "Citizen Science" project. We need help from citizens to collect data from Ystad in the south to Luleå in the north.

During the start-up of the project in 2017, we will initially aim to get students from Lund and Gothenburg involved. Later on, anyone who is interested will be able to participate including families, schools, private individuals, activity groups and ornithologists.

Keep an eye on this website for updates and announcements.

By helping scientists to collect data for this large-scale project, you can contribute to an increased understanding of how birds are coping with the challenges of urbanization and if the effects differ between climate zones in Sweden. You will receive a yearly letter with updates and results from the project.

This is a unique opportunity, for both young and old, to be part of a research project and learn more about bird ecology, sustainability, and scientific methods.

Hopefully, this will lead to an increased interest in science for citizens. If there is any interest, we will be able to visit schools etc. for demonstrations and lectures.
