How to apply

Even though the course is heavily subsidised, we are unfortunately forced to charge a course fee. This year the course fee will be 6000 SEK (this includes the excursion and the coffee breaks but no meals).

Places will be allocated on a first-in first-served basis until the maximum number of places is filled (40 places). The closing date for applications is 1st of August 2016, although the course is likely to fill before this date.

The course is already fully booked but if you are interested you can send the application and we will place you on a reserve list - there are usually a few people who retract due to funding or other problems.

One can apply for the course by filling in and printing the application form below. This form can be filled-in electronically and saved and printed using Acrobat Professional, or filled-in electronically and printed (but not saved) using other Acrobat products. Part of the course includes a poster presentation by each student about his/her work. Your intended poster title should be included in the appropriate place on the application form.

If possible, please e-mail this application form to the following address:

Sensory.Ecology [at]

Otherwise, paper applications can be sent to:

Professor Almut Kelber
Department of Biology
University of Lund
Sölvegatan 35
SE-22362 Lund

In addition, an abstract of your poster presentation, sent electronically to the e-mail address above, should also reach us by 1st of August 2016. Instructions for preparing abstracts are given in the link below.
